About YT

Where do we meet? Christ Church in Summit, NJ map What do we do? EAT; talk about our lives; read and discuss the Bible; do service projects; watch movies; play games; worship God; learn from each other; lots of other stuff! Why do we do it? It makes us better people, and helps us live more closely to God. Who is it for? EVERYONE! We welcome anyone who has questions, needs strength, loves to help others and wants to be a part of something big. If that’s not you, you’re invited too!!

Our Youth Minister’s name is Derek. You can check out his blog here. Derek works part-time for Christ Church and is also a student @ Drew University’s Theological School. Derek is originally from North Carolina and is married to a NJ native. Derek writes music, has been published in the Journal of Student Ministries and tries really hard to run 10K at least 3 times each week.
